I don't understand how you could get away with falsifying a death certificate just by putting in incorrect information. Aren't there any safeguards on those processes?

Yeah that doesn't make sense...that he falsified her death certificate. If you're still alive, you wouldn't have a death certificate. As good as he was in pulling this scheme off, it seems like others weren't doing their job, or the system needs a serious overhaul.

agreed, the system missed the boat on this one...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

 I was thinking that. At least this guy and his mother didn't run a motel...

Ha ha.....my thoughts exactly.

From your lips to God's ears!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I noted that, too; just how does a death certificate, falsified or otherwise, demonstrate someone is still alive?

I wanted to post a picture of Norman Bates dressed as his mother, but couldn't find one...

Apparently, what he did was intentionally fill in the wrong social security number on her actual death certificate, so there was no trigger to cease her payments.
