Does anyone know if the Sputum Culture Test a routine part of exam(completed on everyone) or just on certain individuals?

Not unless there is something wrong with the TB test.Correct me if am wrong ppl.

Yes only if they suspect TB (usually because of a spot on the chest X-ray).

1st 2 replies are correct they will just conduct a sputum test to those who have suspicious looking CXR.

hence will not have a sputum test if the xray is fine and clear.
