hi there,

I have been looking online and I realise that hubby and I have some sort of DS forms to fill out. We have our I-130 apporved and are waiting for the packet to be sent to us, but we also just gor RFE today emailed to us and not sure which way to go. I am worrying !!

Also, do you have to have a police check form for your interview or it that optional? I read on the US embassy london's website about the police check and wanted to clarify that with people..

would really appreciate your advice on all above mentioned¬! feel like i am going a bit doo lallay here with all this to do!!

cheers becca x

Hi becca- you need to check out the National Visa Centre forum - Time Savers pinned thread at the top - as most of your questions will be answered here. Contact your local police headquarters re the Police Report - they will email you the form and instructions - this will have to be completed and returned asap as it takes 40 days to be processed - it costs 10GBP.

For detailed timeline - click on my name - then read our story

becca,

You write that you've been to the US consulate in London's web site, where it's written that IV-15 is a document checklist .... It's a list of the documents that you will need to have for your visa interview.

The police certificate is a requirement, not an option.
