I've got to ask, because some one has to do it, why are the Philippines so apparently overrepresented on VJ in terms of K-1 beneficiaries? I understand that the country makes up somewhere around 1.37% of the world population, but my sense is that somewhere around 75% of the k-1 beneficiaries on this site are from the Philippines. What gives?

Because of the internet, silly. West meets east because of the internet. It so happens that the charming and sweet wives are from the East.

if you are asking this question it is because you never had the pleasure of dating a Filipina!. Anyone that has had this experience can tell you that they concentrate on their partners needs at all times. Chat with one for more than 1-2 times, the first question they ask in a chat is "did you eat yet", hehehe. They always put your well being first. And when you are finally blessed by marrying one. You never have to ask why again!

Yes I love my Filipina wife because she is the best. I went half way around the world to be with her, spent 2 yrs in the Philippines working her visa, to be with her, and have had blessed days the whole time. Love you Mahal Ko!!!

My Filipina rocks! Here's an example; I let her hear and read the lyrics to that old song, "My Filipino Baby". Afterwards i started referring to her as "my treasure and my pet". She just giggles and tells me that she IS my pet, but that i am her treasure!

If i tried calling a western girl my pet, her attitude would suffocate me!

My girl puts me ahead of herself, and in doing so i put her ahead of me....she's my queen, i'm her king. She knows this and glories in it. From what i've experienced, Filipinas indeed make the best wives in the world!

I (L) U SWEETY!!!

Each situation is different, but I think in general filipino women want a husband that treats them with respect and lets be honest offers them a better quality of life. Marrying an American or European man gives them the best chance of achieving these goals. Again every case is different but my filipino wife and I are extremely happy with each other... she is beautiful inside & out!

Excuse me!!... many of us Filipinos achieved our goals because we are hard working people NOT because we are married to American or European men. and besides is not neccesarily that we need to marry foriegn men in order for us to have a better quality life. :P

:bonk:

its not cool of you. just because you are married to a very poor dirt Filipina and you gave her a better life. now you want us to put ALL in ONE BASKET. :bonk:

As nice as that sounds, I'm not sure there's any evidence to back up the fact that Philippina women make "better" wives than women of any other nationality. I don't think we're being honest with ourselves here.

Other than the fact that the vast majority of the men here have already been married to western women and women of other nationalities, and never found happiness until they met their Filipina?

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

An interesting fact is that according to the statistics Filipina-American marriages have a lower divorce rate (about 20%) than the standard American- American marriage (about 40%). Still, the statistics may vary according to which source you use...Cant you accept that fact?
