My fiance is flying to US on NW the 28 via Narita and Chicago...just looking for a plane buddy as this is her first time flying.

First time flying ever, or just the first time flying from BKK to the US?

Many years ago my wife flew from BKK to the US via Narita. I would have preferred to fly over there so I could travel with her, but I was out of vacation time.

I wrote up very detailed instructions on what to expect at the airport, on the layover, and when she arrived in the US. She made it just fine and I'm sure your fiance will as well.

Dave.

He's a noobie. Cut him some slack.

I'll report the thread to draw organizers attention, they can move it to a more appropriate location.

I suggest in the Regional Forum, Asia ex-China which is where the Thailand related threads generally belong.

OP - my fiancee will (hopefully!) be traveling BKK-Seoul-Chicago on July 3. She's traveled outside of Thailand twice before however, so she's an old pro

Good luck to both of us.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Dave.

This is only her second flight, her first one was a regional flight in Thailand. I wish I could be there for her flight. We are working on all the info she needs for her flight though.
