Hi everyone!! Ihad my medical exam today :) everything went well, the only thing i need to get done is my second HPV vaccine.

I have a question and i think you guys might have a better idea of what i should do. I'm going to try to make the long story short.

** I've been living with my now husband for 5 years, we started living together since i came to the US as an international student

** After i graduated i applied for optional practical training so i could work for a year. My work visa expired December 2008.

** I went home and i came back in February of 2009 to attend my best friend's wedding and look for some colleges to do my masters.

** My husband proposed to me February 14th the same night i arrived here...

** We decided to get married may 29th... How ever when i left to go home in december 2008 i was still on a lease...

We've been on a lease since

June 2005-June 2006

from July 2006-June 2007

from July 2007-January 2008

February 2008 to July 2008

then from August 2008-July 2009 current lease

The attorney told me to ask management for a letter stating that i left the country because my work visa was about to expire and i wasn't responsible of the apartment that way they wouldn't think i came back to stay and everything was planned. For some reason they can't take me off the lease, do you think this letter would work?

****Should i send all my leases with form I-130 proof of affidavit along with the letter? or just the very last one and the new one i just signed for the month of August 2009-July 2010?

I am very confused.. and frustrated! The manager told me to type the letter up and bring it to her tomorrow so she can sign it.

****Should i just leave everything alone and explain everything at the interview?

This is what i would explain: The reason why i was on a lease from august 2008 until July 2009 was because i was planning to come back to the country to enroll in to college to do my masters

Thank you so much and sorry if this was too long besos!

Well - since you should of properly filled out the G-325 with all the locations you lived in the last five years, you really can't now leave things out, now should you?

Stick with the truth and explain if need at the interview. You were here legally and you had to live somewhere in the US - so don't sweat it.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
