Hey guys...quick question! Sorry, I tried searching but couldn't find any relevant information.

How are the appointment letters sent nowadays? Are they through snail mail or will they email you a pdf file? Please let me know.

2009-01-29 : I-130 package sent

2009-02-05 : NOA1

2009-04-03 : NOA2

NVC

2009-04-16 : NVC case # assigned

2009-04-18 : DS-3032/AOS bill generated

2009-04-18 : AOS bill paid; DS-3032 emailed

2009-04-22 : AOS package mailed

2009-05-12 : IV Fee bill generated

2009-05-12 : IV Fee bill paid

2009-05-26 : Mailed DS-230 package and AOS package (first one never made it)

2009-06-11 : RFE (original birth certificate missing)

2009-06-16 : Mailed original birth certificate

2009-07-03 : Case complete

2009-07-09 : Interview date assigned (8/12/09)

Embassy

2009-08-11 : Interview rescheduled to 8/14/09

2009-08-14 : Visa approved

2009-08-20 : Visa received

Post-Embassy

2009-09-25 : POE at LAX

2009-09-26 : Finally together :)

2009-10-05 : Greencard received

2009-10-30 : SSN never came through, so, re-applied for SSN

2009-11-06 : SSN received

I've heard the beneficiary get it through snail mail, but you could get that info over the phone as well :) You'll still need the letter though, for the medical appointment :)

2009-05-26 : Sent In Completed I-864

2009-06-04 : e-mailed DS-3032 accepted by NVC____2009-06-04 : IV Fee bill generated, paid online $400

2009-06-08 : DS-230 mailed to NVC

2009-07-10 : Case complete - in 141 days

2009-07-21 : Interview expedite request e-mailed to NVC

Well in our case the Embassy in Seoul sends everything out through email. No snail mail~

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : South Korea

2009-03-13 : Married~

2009-04-20 : I-130 Sent

2009-04-28 : I-130 NOA1

2009-05-20 : I-130 Approved! (Your I-130 was approved 22 days from NOA1 date.)

2009-05-27 : NVC Received and assigned case #.

2009-06-05 : NVC Left

2009-06-29: Medical (passed)

2009-07-07 : Interview Date

2009-07-10 : Visa Received

2009-07-30: US Entry

2009-08-13: Green card shipped

2009-09-01: Applied for SSN

2009-09-27: SSN Received

2009-12-12- Driver's Lic. Issued

2010-01-06- Hubby signed 3 year contract w/ military

Next Step: Coping with being alone for 5 months~

if ur visa is CR-1 or IR-1 so NVC is green now ..no more snail Mail unless u didnt provide ur Emails to the opertor when u first have your NVC number

if u did so ..so all the communication with NVC will be via Email including the Interview letter

if ur Visa is K1 OR K3 ..so its the Embassy job to send u the required documents ..and mostly they do so by the snail Mail ...some reported here even it become by Email ...

i got mine via email, 2 days after they gave me my interview date..

02/27/12 - NOA1 petition received(hubby's birthday!)

06/06/12 - NOA2 stating I-130 approved

06/29/12 - NVC received case

07/09/12 - case entered in the system,assigned MNL # and IIN,email add given

07/12/12 - beneficiary emailed DS-3032, auto response received

07/18/12 - AOS fee bill/paid "IN PROCESS"

07/20/12 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID", mailed AOS package

07/25/12 - received AOS

07/25/12 - IV Fee Bill Invoiced, paid $230.00 "IN PROCESS"

07/26/12 - IV Fee bill shows "PAID"

07/28/12 - mailed IV Package

08/03/12 - received DS 230 packet

08/14/12 - sent RFE

08/16/12 - NVC received RFE

08/21/12 - log in failed

08/22/12 - case complete!

09/26-27/12 - medical at SLMC

10/04/12 - interview
