We filed the k1 visa in April and received the NOA1 in mid-april. Is there any way to track this process? And my follow up question is, what can we do while we are preparing for the interview. I want to be on offense up until the day she starts living in the States. I guess I would love feedback and a step by step process that others took to ensure smooth-sailing once we are married in the States.

What forms should I have ready before her interview?

What forms need to be filed after we get married?

Thank you so much for your help!! :)

Hi,

Until you get your NOA2 you can track your case status online here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

Basically it will tell you the last time your file was handled (shows a date change) and when you are approved.

You can use the website like trailmix said, but it never updated for us.

While I was waiting I got my long form Birth Certificate and my gardissil shot (your fiancee will have to take this shot if she is under 27 and not pregnant).

My fiance got our NOA2 yesterday and on Friday I'm going to get my criminal background check and my mom is searching her cabinets for my vaccination records. You'll also need to fill out an affidavit of support, but this is all mentioned in the guides.
