Immigration are such ####### Heads!

My wife and I have been married for over 3 years. She got the temporary 2 year green card. I don't know all of the details because I'm only now getting involved, but they recently sent us an i-751 denial letter saying they sent us a letter askng for more evidence, that we never replied to. Guess what, never got the letter! Didn't move or anything! Get all of our mail just fine! With the exception that they sent the letter december 16th...and all i can think of is that in all the christmas mail it somehow got lost and never made it to us.

Regardless, we're ######. It's such bullshit and it makes me hate my own damn country. I drive down the street and probly see 100 illegals, WITH JOBS, not paying taxes, etc etc and here we are with our own business, paying an #### load of tax and the bloated beaurocracy is grinding us up for trying to play by the rules. The burden of proof should go both ways....they should have to prove they sent the letter! They should be sent certified mail with signature.

Is it really necessary to hire a lawyer? If we are totally 100% legit, self employed (so we don't have to worry about work status), we are not necessarily in a hurry but of course don't want this to drag on forever.

Any idea on what we're up against at the "master hearing" before the immigration court? It seems like half the battle is just getting in front of someone that can ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING. So the reasonable side of me imagines that if we state our case they may understand. But if they are as insane as the rest of this process they may lock her up right there!

Should we really get a lawyer? I'm just so pissed about throwing money down the drain. We have the money, don't get me wrong. But it's the principle that burns me.

Yes....I think you should get a good immigration attorney.

Good Luck.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
