Hi guys;

Although it took the maximum allotted time stated on the RFE that I received from VCS, we got our approval. I'm attaching a couple of pictures of the packet I prepared for VCS. I'm doing this so that those of you who have gotten RFE's understand that the more proof you send, the better. In my opinion (and that's all it is) if you create a user friendly file for VCS, you insure yourself that the proof's sent will not be lost, or misplaced and you're approval may come that much quicker.

Good Luck to all of you.

Nice work!

Those were plastic sleeves with copies of the docs inside each sleeve?

I guarantee you that the VSC employee yelled "Hey, guys, look at this one!!!"

Sure was. I spent $60.00 on the supplies, 3 Hours putting everything together and another $35.00 for Next Day Delivery, but it was all worth it. And I agree. I think the first two words out of the officer that saw my file must have been HOLY #######! LOL...

Just goes to show you that there's no such thing as too much info.

That is what I think CSC did to me, lost my proof, so I neatly did simular to yours with a DETAILED cover sheet of RFE proof.

For much quicker, huh, its been 28 days today since CSC got my proof, and only yesterday I was told prrof was give to the officer who issued the RFE, UGH!!!!!! Best wishes all. And GREAT JOB, this will help many future filer couples with your example thread here.. :dance:

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Paris;

Trust me I know how you feel. It's very frustrating to sit and wait while they take their time. But, remember that the RFE states that anywhere from 14 to 60 days may pass before you receive an answer. Ours took exactly 60 days from the time they received it to the time I received an answer. Just be patient, and call them every once in a while to see if any updates are available. Don't guide yourself by what the web site.

Good luck

No problem. I actually did send evidence when I filed the I-130 but for some reason, we still got the RFE. So I sent the original evidence again, along with some additional evidence and some pictures of our wedding and pictures of the birth of our son (showing the 3 of us together).

I must admit I am a little at a loss here in that you received an RFE for proof of marriage relationship. In compiling all the forms together for dispatch once we get the word from VSC I have seen no requirement for submission of proof of marital relationship? If there is a requirement we shall obviously put some together in order that we don't receive an RFE when we submit our documents.

If you can advise or give some insight about this occurence we would be most grateful.

Best Wishes

Arthur and Roberta
