I use Clinique and ALWAYS use an SPF (minimum 15). There is a reason I don't look 36, y'know, and that's due to my hatred of the sun. :P

Clinique do a fabulous under eye moisturiser called "All About Eyes". I use this nightly. It's around $28 for a small pot, but it lasts ages - I've had mine for 4 months and it's only just getting to the bottom.

Never use any acne treatment on the undereye area. This area is really sensitive and the skin much thinner than on the rest of the body. Even if you only use a moisturiser there at night, it's going to help even out wrinkles. Start preventative treatment now, at 30, rather than waiting a few more years. ;)

I don't know what to do about acne as I've been lucky enough to never have it or get spots.

Also, there are some exercises you can do nightly for the eye area. It may sound a little silly, but done every day it can help even out wrinkles. :D

All About Eyes is the shiznit!!!! :star:

So here's my deal. I just turned 30 and I just don't like the way my face looks. So it's time for a change. I have to confess i don't wear sunscreen on my face. I have a very oily face and have been suffering from acne since I was a teen. I keep it under control only if I wash and treat with benzoyl peroxide. And the reason I avoid sunscreen is that anything I put on my face makes the acne even worse.

My problem nowadays is that I see a lot of wrinkles under my eyes, dark circles and uneven skin tone. I avoid buying products because I'm afraid it'll give me more acne.

Would you share what you wear, if any anti-wrinkle cream, what works for you. What kind of concealer, foundation and/or powder that looks natural and do the job.

I don't wear make-up, because I just don't know how to make it look natural. Every time I buy something to hide my skin problems, like concealer, powder, it makes it look so fake, flaky and unless you're 20 feet away you can see it. And also, the powder or concealer makes my wrinkles even more visible, it helps with skin tone and hide the dark circles, but my wrinkles look way worse.

I see most women with perfect make up, how do they do that? Is there a place I can learn how to do it, a person that can tell me what I can and cannot use? If I was in my country I could go to a dermatologist that would help me. But here I'm lost. Tricare will probably decline if i ask to see a dermatologist, since it's cosmetic, not a medical condition.

I appreciate any input.

btw, Here's a poll I started

I use GORGEOUS by Lush for my moisturizer on face. You won't like the price. I worked there and still have connections so I get 50% off. It's all I will use on my face. Not oily and works like a dream for me.

To wash my face, I use HERBALISM by Lush.

I find bare minerals sits in any little wrinkle you may have, at least that's my experience with it. I have *one* wrinkle - and it definitely enhances it. Now typically I will use Olay regernist anti-wrinkle eye cream, then apply clinique tinted moisturizer with SPF (I also have lancome but that is slightly less sheer). The I use makeup forever lift concealer wherever needed. As with anything dealing with your delicate skin around your eyes PAT the products into place. Sun & acne ointments will really scorch these delicate areas, and being too rough will also cause it to lose elasticity.

OMG....I spit soda out of my nose at ONE wrinkle.

ONLY products I will use on my body. I worked there 2 years. Still have my connections or I would have to get a 2nd job JUST to afford my Lush habit again.

 yeah its a 'character line" or so I have been told (a small line next to my mouth on *one* side). I smile slightly crooked - even apparent in my toddler pictures. But so far *knock on wood* I dont have anything else. Im sure my time is coming.

I do not use make up and I take about 1-5 minutes for my face. I use 'Philosophy' - it's a great product. http://www.philosophy.com

I use normal cream - I do not use SPF - eventhought I problably should but I'm in the office all day and I hardly get in the sun - so I think i'm alright.

To even out my skin tone and reduce big pour - I use 'help me' from Philosophy. It's a retinol but a very very light one that doesnt burn. My friend who has skin problem and easy to get allergy and burn had tried and she loved it. I use that before I go to bed and I can feel after a few weeks that my face looks brighter and younger.

for anti wrinkle - I also use 'when hope is not enough' from the same maker - very good at preventing lines and wrinkle. The same friend tried and ever since, wont go without it.

Philosophy is really good and after using them for a while you can deffinately see the change. They advertised that their product cater to those who wants a natural looks without having to wear make up - and that is quite true.

give it a try - they have a trying package that come with basic stuff for everyday use. it can be a little pricy but imo it worth every penny!

I hear ya...I only started wearing make-up (a little eye shadow + eye circles cover-up stuff) a couple of years ago because my eyelids are permanently pink from seborrhea. :(

I needed help initially, of course. Fortunately, I know plenty of girly girls, including my dear muthuh, who is into make-up. She was pleased that I finally came around to it--at age 33 or somethin'!

:( That stinks. I have it on my cheeks and it really makes me self-conscious. Thank god for my mineral makeup. Hot showers make it worse for me, so I try to avoid getting hot water on my face as much as possible.

I got one of these a few weeks ago! I swear it was there and I kind of freaked out, but the next day it was gone. Weird. I guess it was just a sneak preview!

Physicians formula makes a tinted moisturizer called "Organic Wear" with SPF 15. I (L) it.
