Timeline

My fiance's port of entry was JFK as well and he had to catch his connecting flight in 1.55 hrs. The entrie process from going to customs and baggage re check was around 2 hours so he did in fact miss his connecting flight. He did how ever catch the next departing flight going to Chicago which he had to stay in all that night was one big mess. There was no flights going from Chicago to omaha until later that night. They put him on stand by and he got real lucky and arrived noon the next day. At JFK in immigration he was the last person to be interviewd and they only asked him one question... When are you getting married. They were nice with him and laughed a little as well. 9 days later i was looking at his passopt to see this visa which took us one year to achive and noticed they did give him a temporary work stamp!! Really we had no clue he had it lol. So thats our port of entry story!
