It's normal to be nervous at this time until the interview. Just be prepared and have everything possible ready at the interview. You will find so many threads of the type of questions asked and so many others input on how their interview went. So far nothing is predictable in Cairo; so just stay positive and have good thoughts hopefully everything will go well.

Yes, make sure everything is in order and you have all of your relationship proof and required docs.

I like what L179 said: be confident and honest and you will be ok.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
