This reminds me of the great old story:

Two men were talking. One said, "My wife tried a new mud-mask treatment to make herself look beautiful." The other said, "Did it work?" The first said, "She looked great for three days... but then the mud fell off."

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Fortunately, I have been blessed with good genetics so I don’t use anything. I’m 32 but look 22, my mother is 56 but looks 36, my grandmother is 84 but looks 64. :D I have no problem with ageing so I probably still would not use anything even if I were to have wrinkles.

i smoked for 14 years, i used to drink a lot on my teen/early adulthood years because of all the parties, going to nightclubs etc, 3-5 times a week, used to go to the beach very often (3 or more months a year), didn't wear sunscreen at all times, never wore anti-wrinkles or any moisturizer other than acne lotions and i am stressed out quite often.

on the other hand, i eat healthy and have always exercised, since i always a little kid. i don't smoke anymore, take vitamins and drink ocasionally.

This from my husband, the chemist: all those anti-wrinkle creams are a big fat scam. I wear an SPF moisturizer (looooooooooooooove Biotherm) and a foundation primer (Stila) also with SPF. I eat healthy, don't drink, take vitamins (lotsa lotsa vitamin E and silica complex for skin + hair). Sad thing is I smoke, so there goes all my good habits :P

Many Dr's smoke, despite understanding the risks. What I did hear once though, was that most if not all damage from smoking can be reversed if you give up before you reach 30. I am not sure how true this is in relation to skin damage but it might work.

Looking at the skin condition of older relatives will give you a good indication of your underlying skin type and give you an idea of the aging process you can expect - the skin does drastically change as one ages and no amount of creams are really going to change that. My mum is pissed off these days because of how thin it is. If she gets bumps and scrapes these days they really are much more serious and take a lot longer to heal - but she is in her 80's.

There are things that one can do, but I believe Bren, most of the expensive creams are just designed to part us from large amounts of hard earned cash :)

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I use this Japanese stuff called "gokujyun". Somebody brought it for me from Japan as a souvenier and I was hooked. It's really awesome. It's actually a moisturizer, but I'm young so I don't have any wrinkles yet.

I've paid up to 45 bucks for them. So far have been using the Anew 25+ nighttime cream, but would like to try something new. I don't have wrinkles yet but I do know I need to start now to prevent them.

So far I use sunscreen IF I go to the beach, I work out whenever but not as religiously as I used to, I quit smoking a long time ago and I take Centrum everyday.
