It's the perfect thread to do just that.

Both of you (Bat & Gary) have a point.. Guano posted a thread that obviously sheds the right in a bad light, but at the same time it is actual news. However you have the other VJers who post stuff that maligns the left. Both are one sided but I guess if you split the difference reality is somewhere in between.

I'm not holding breath for Gary to show this kind of outrage over Danno's, VW's, Bill's, Charles' or any other Right Winger's posts.

You're probably correct ... Gary used to post threads & comments very similar to what Danno posts now. Gary has toned down his rhetoric quite a bit, so he gets kudos for that, but I have yet to see him be critical of the VJ right (perhaps he has & I missed it).

My silence in those threads speaks volumes. I wouldn't care if Steven posted a few anti-right posts but he goes WAY overboard with the innuendo and outright lies he posts. To associate the right with murderers and to insinuate that the reps don't support the troops is way over the line. Correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen very many posts from Danno or VW that tries to link the left with murderers or terrorists. If they have then I will denounce those posts right now. All I have seen is posts that criticize policies of the lefts positions. That is OK from either side IMO but Steven is downright mean and dishonest with his linkages.

Danno starts many threads, you post responses to many threads (just clearing that up). Also you are proving Guano's point, whether you realize it or not, by blasting him & glossing over the antics of the VJ right (they are far from being innocent in the perpetual VJ war of words). Also are you VW? If you are I didn't know (just curious).

I'm not proving Bat Sh!t's point. He's proving mine. No one goes out of his way to malign conservatives like he does. If we do anything, it's posting rebuttals to challenge the foolishness in the anti-conservative threads. He's also proving the his side is still angry, divisive and less iterested in changing things for the better than they are in settling old scores.

None of this makes liberals look honest about their views being the best choice for a better democracy.

When you start denouncing the rhetoric, stereotyping & misrepresentation of facts by the VJ Right with the same assertiveness that you are denouncing "batshits" posts then you will have credibility... until then you are just a one-dimensional defender of the right.
