Not sure what is going on

called CSC and went to local office to find out what is going on with my case. Get this: they told me that all security checks have been completed and that they have applied my 2007 FBI namecheck to the I-751 (which i find strange) and that everything looks good, but the case is still pending. CSC officer said the case is still on the shelf pending adjudication.

Its been 3 months since case was filed with CSC (3/16), and i see people who filed over a month after i did already got approved. So i just dont understand how they can claim with a straight face to process cases in the order they recieve them. Sorry for ranting.

Perhaps the other people didn't have any issues with their name checks?

Should they have to wait till your case if completed, before they can be moved on?

Hang in there! Some people are still waiting, for over a year, sadly...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

like i said, they applied my 2007 namecheck to the I-751 so there is no issue there

Well I have been waiting for over 4 months now. I have a friend whose almost waiting for almost 5 months now. She called the senator and the senator rep told that there has been no person/officer assigned to her case, meaning her files are just sitting collecting dust.

Don't know what's going with USCIS in these last couple of weeks.

Correction on my last post:

Just checked with the friend. It's the senator's office who hasn't assigned a person for the case, not USCIS. Sorry for the mis-quote there, a little info is dangerous they say.

But still still hope USCIS approves everyone with speed.

Good Luck to us all.

Excuse me, but your NOA date is 2/13 and you think there's a problem?

I don't understand.

I am sure you dont

Really?

It took 17 months for my husband to get his CONDITIONAL greencard. I think I understand about waiting.

I also understand you want this to be over. But it doesn't seem (at least to me) like it's been all that long yet.

I'm still waiting over a year now. I received my NOA in April 2008 from TSC. Then it was transfered to VSC on 04/25/08. I need to get a stamp on my passport now, my 1 year extension ends up on 06/26/09. What I have noticed is that on 06/14/09 they touched my old i485 and my first i765. Do someone have any idea why? and my i751 still showing "Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred." on 03/12/09. I tink is because I called up on 06/10/09 and open a case because it was out of the time frame. Some feedback would be appreciated. I know a lot of people is a similar situation but it is frustrating...

What is going on with this site as of late? Do people no longer read the guides? You think you just fill out a paper and get results in 2-3 months? Are you kidding me? I was so happy to get approved in about 5 months. My plan was it was going to take 1 year, IF I WAS LUCKY. I just dont get how everyone expecting everything handed to them over night. Did any part of this process go quickly for you? Nothing moves fast, just deal with it.

Agree with jpine.

No one was more shocked than us at getting an approval after around 5-6 months out of VSC. We knew the Service Centers were telling people that there is up to 1 year backlog/wait on processing I751. So that's what we planned on.

You mentioned that some people who filed after you are approved BUT fail to mention those people on here have been waiting over a year before approval, so I am not getting why you are in a wad at this early stage.

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
