So I'm having one of those days when I go over everything that we put in our package and start to cringe and worry about what I should have or could have done differently.

For example: we don't have any pictures together. I have pictures of him and my daughter and pictures that he took of me and my daughter, I have pictures of just him and pictures of just me and I have screen caps from skype conversations but no pictures of us actually together so needless to say we didn't include any pictures of us together. Neither of us are really shutterbugs, the onyl time we pull out a camera is to capture special moments in my daughters life. We were ignorant to this process before we applied and it never really occured to us that pictures would be a requirment as it wasn't listed anywhere on the I129f. We did include ever boarding pass, trip itinerary (5 of them), e-mails and phone bills, several 24h fishing liscenses that we both got on the same day at the same place.

I'm going to take tonnes of pictures over the next three weeks (provided they let me visit) and that way we'll have lots of stuff for the consulate interview. Although he's going to be at my interview which is 1000 times better than pictures. Or so I think. My fiance works for the US government and is a veteran and thinks that we'll have no problem because of his history and patriotism and the fact that I'm just 'canadian'. He doesn't really believe me that regardless of a persons citizenship the rules are the same. He lets me take care of all this stuff because I'm pretty neurotic when it comes to paperwork which would explain a lot about his attitude considering I wouldn't let him touch anything.

I guess my question is this... does anyone know if anyone has ever submitted without pictures and if so did they get an RFE?

It is my understanding that pictures are secondary evidence substantiating primary evidence such as stamped passport, boarding passes, hotel receipts, etc. I think you might get an RFE, at that point you can send the old (again) and new primary evidence with the new pictures (secondary evidence).

We didn't have any of us togther either. Ones he took of me, ones I took of him, but not a single one that showed us together. We weren't even thinking along the lines of 'evidence ' when we met.

Still got our K1, and I am in the USA and married.

But....I always insist on pics now! :)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

If you had sufficient evidence of having met in person that's all you need. As Surf2Salsa said, pictures are not primary evidence. Now that you know...take lots of pictures. You'll want them for the interview and then to help prove an on-going relationship. The evidence you submitted was good. No worries.
