Hi All,

Can she get her medical exams done before the consulate send her packet 3?. And if she can what dose she need to do? Is there any forms she has to fill in? or she just call the recomended doctor from the consulate and do the exams?.

The consulate said it wil take 10 days for her packet 3 to send it to her. We are trying to get everything ready for the interview.

Thanks for your help

Most medical places require the number assigned by the embassy before they will schedule you an appointment, so you have that? (For example, Ankara embassy gives ANKXXXXX) (was on the NVC letter for us).

If you know where to go, you can go ahead and start the ball rolling. Check the embassy website, they may have the detailed instructions there (and it's good to check there first before doing anything)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

the number will be on your NVC letter from what i can remember. you should be able to call one of those doctors listed on the website and schedule an apt then. my husband had his medical before his interview as well--he called with the number and they scheduled it. he went for the medical and the results were forwarded to his embassy.

Ayup - give them a call - they can tell you what you need to bring.

Normally you do the medical prior to the interview, they usually suggest 8-10 days, for any tests to be completed. Since they have a shelf life before they expire, you don't want to do it to far out.
