Great News! I just got a letter from the Baltimore Field Office acknowledging our address change and our request to reschedule the interview. They fowarded my case back to the Benefits Center where they will send us a new interview date in our jurisdiction. (That was Fast) That should take care of Baltimore cancelling our application.

Excellent!

I did not think the change of address idea would work.

For those who were following this thread, I was able to push back the interview and travel on the AP with the 179 days out of status. It took about 15 minutes at customs...but the trip was a success.

Lucky you. :) How did you get so much out of status time? Don't remember you mentioning this before, but maybe I missed it.

We got married within the 90 days, but my work was pretty unstable and warned me that I might be moving, so I waited for the move before I filed for the AOS. But all is good, she just got her interview letter yesterday...

that was cutting it close - 180+ days would of sprung the ban trap...

grats :)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
