I JUST received email notice on a status update:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On June 23, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

Wonder what is so odd about this? See my timeline below... :lol::lol::lol:

Now I am still kicking myself in the rear over the lack of thought to use delivery confirmation. :bonk::ranting::angry:

I too got the same message this afternoon and have already gotten the RFE and sent it back so there just running a little behind the times...I guess its a good update as there is proof there still working and trying to get everything caught up and back on track.AND...hey who knows maybe by the end of the week they may finally acknowledge they recieved them back!

i understand your post, dont worry i received and sent my RFE on the 28th of june (with confirmation that it was received) you must be in the same pile of rfe's as me. im sure they received your rfe.

I got the same thing today and crazy thing is they received my RFE at 11:39 this morning according to my receipt confirmation.

Crazy isn't it?? :lol: At least we know they are doing something...even if they are behind the times....

08/14/2009 - E-Mail Notification of Approval - got the e-mail and letter the same day!

08/11/2009 - LETTER OF APPROVAL!!! 10 YEAR GREEN CARD!!!

08/21/2009 - RECEIVED 10 YEAR GREEN CARD!!!!! YEAH!!!

I wonder if the update didn't have something to do with them receiving the RFE as they should have received mine today... *still mumbling about the confirmation* :ranting:

I got the same message today (23 June). I also received the RFE today postmarked 29 June. A blanket e-mail, if you will. Don't read too much into it. Forget about it!
