Truly enjoy both teams although I sport a Cubs hat from time to time and wear it with all smiles when I'm in Bridgeport. Conversely, I do have a Sox hat I wear to Wrigleyville. You see... I was raised a NYM fan.

After the strike that Judge Sotomayor helped end, I nearly gave up on MLB for being the greedy enterprise that it is.

Ozzie does talk like a few posters that fit the troll profile though. Hmmm... maybe he is on VJ?

Interesting. I was a Torontonian during the back-to-back World Series victories in 92 and 93. They were probably going to drop out of contention during 1994, but of course we never had the chance to find out, did we, due to the greed of both players and owners who basically treated all the fans as chopf##ks. I gave up entirely for about a decade on the sport, and only now am gradually allowing myself to maybe care a little in my adopted city. Barry Bonds and ARod and all the steroids scandals aren't exactly boosting my confidence in being a fan again.

Then again, the game itself is wonderful. Gotta love it!
