Travel Authority Form I-131

I want to include in my AOS application the travel authority in case we decide to have plans of going abroad. In this case I don't have a specific date of travel. Can I leave it blank in filling out the Form I-131?

Just put "unknown" or something like that. It doesn't matter if you have a specific date to travel, the AP is good for one year from the date it is issued, for multiple uses.

I wouldn't leave it blank - that tells them you didn't answer the question. Instead you might enter "undetermined at this point" or "Summer/Fall 2009".

Correct - fee for AP (and EAD) is included in the I-485 AOS fee if filed together (or filed afterward and including a copy of the AOS NOA1).

You qualify for AP if you have an AOS application pending.

The circumstances would be for emergent personal or bona fide business reasons.
