HI,

I got 2 pages of Yellow RFE about submit medical

it looks almost same except bottom check lines.

but still almost same topics talking about.

both paper say that i need to submit medical.

is this normal to get 2 pages of RFE for failing submission for medical report??

I will go to civil surgeons tomorrow though...

I just need to submit I-693 (and some letter form surgeons?) to the address they say?

or do i need to submit something els other than I-693??

you do not prepare the I-693, the CS will... You will submit the sealed packet they provide you.

We got two pages for our RFE for the medical. One was for the 765 & 1 was for the 485. You go thru a very painless exam, you go back in two days for the TB test to be read, and they give you your documents. Send them back to the address on the letters and they will resume processing! Send the originals of the RFE back, keep a copy for your records, and be sure the CS gives you a copy of your exam reports for your records as well

great! that mean 2 pages of RFE are normal!

page 1 say i must submit I-693 for I-485 and

page 2 say I failed to submit proper documentation for I-485

and both pages talk about I-765... i was bit confused...

but now im clear!! I think. Thank you!!

I am preparing for I-693 Medical and I want to share what is going on my case…

First, I called one of civil surgeon in my area and I was told that I need to go to

local health department to complete TB test, blood tests (HIV/Syphilis) and several immunizations

prior to the appointment at civil surgeon.

So, I went to local health department to have required items including TB test.

Two days later, I went back to health department to let them check my TB test result...

It shows "10mm Positive" and I was sent to different hospital to get Chest X-ray done, which costs me

$385. The result is OK.

But, here is what I want to share…

When I was young in Japan, I had BCG shot (I heard this immunization is NOT required in the US.

But it is required in other countries, such as Japan and UK.)

I was told by a nurse at health department that it is very common

the people who had BCG shot before show “Positive- TB test” like my case…

My appointment at civil surgeon is on 7/8/09.

I will post what happens to me in details later on!

FYI- My civil surgeon told me the cost for I-693 is $79.

I saw other people are saying civil surgeon cost is really varied… $200-$300.

and need to go back to CS tomorrow.

I will go to Health dep today to get TD and HPV vaccine.

I saw some post that ppl had "10mm Positive" and X-ray say ok

they had no problem for I-693

i paid 200 yesterday

since i have health insurance, i wanted to use for blood test to cost down

but i couldnt find good deal pl.

there have tooooo many in NYC and my phone is broken couldnt call many pl...

I finished medical!

got sealed envelop~~

surprisingly I got negative for TB test. I was thinking I get positive since i had BCG

i went with my friends and they got negative too.

that was good! no extra money!!!

NOW,

I just need to send medical.

BUT

I am wondering.

should I just send RFE letter and sealed envelop?

it looks sad

because AOS packet had soooo many paper.

Tako Octopus would have only had to pay $79 at the CS because there were no exms completed at the office apart from a physical I would assume.

I paid $160 for my CS which is ALOT better than most and that included the TB test and the physical exam and them filling out the paperwork.

I had my blood test done at a free sexual health clinic it took awhile longer for the results to come through (1-2 weeks I think) but I was not going to pay $350+ for something I was able to get for free.

I also got TWO RFE letters for the I-693 which were both yellow.

We just got our medical done and paid a total of 305 for everything. Vaccines, exam, blood work... I thought it was a pretty good deal. Now we just gotta wait for the TB result and then go back and get our envelope!

Thanks, yes it was normal... now I'm just waiting for our envelope so we can file!! The attorney is all ready to go just need to get him our medical, marriage certificate and passport photos...

ask your CS if you can get that shot from city or state department of health.

you may need go health and back to CS, but its free!!

Well, we didn't have time to go that route... we just paid the 160 so we could get the sealed envelope. As it is, I think we are going to miss his 90 day cut off. They didn't figure out he needed a chicken pox vaccine till yesterday afternoon... I think his 90 days are up th 28th which is a Sunday... we overnighted the rest of the stuff to the lawyer today, so I dunno if he can get it mailed out tomorrow. We shall see.
