Card Production ordered (again)?

Ok, so I got a CRIS email this morning saying that on June 12, 2009 they ordered GC production. We had a touch today (June 15) on the I485. Of course, we had both of those things right after our interview on May 13... and the status message used to say May 13, now its June 12. Anyone else get a similar update? I am wondering if this is a good sign that card production is about to actually take place for us, or if this is some signal of a further card production delay and we should expect to wait a couple of months from now to actually get the card.

03/12/2007 - Married to my beautiful wife

04/16/2007 - Sent I-130 to VSC via USPS Express Mail

05/12/2007 - NOA1 received by snail mail after a loooong wait

05/14/2007 - Sent I-129F for K3 to Chicago Lockbox via USPS Express Mail

10/22/2007 - I129F APPROVED (161 days), I130 APPROVED (188 days)

11/08/2007 - I129F received at NVC, embassy case number generated.

11/13/2007 - I129F forwarded to embassy.

11/18/2007 - 129F petition received at embassy

01/09/2008 - finally, DOS gives me the interview date, April 16, 2007 (ouch)

01/23/2008 - never got packet 4, emailed embassy

04/11/2008 - picked up packet 4, did medical

04/14/2008 - medical report pickup, no problems

04/16/2008 - interview date- APPROVED!!!!!

04/18/2008 - both of us are home at last, POE JFK!

05/21/2008 - sent AOS and EAD

05/27/2008 - received NOA1 for AOS and for EAD

06/02/2008 - received Biometrics appt letter

06/19/2008 - Biometrics appointment scheduled - DONE

06/19/2008 - both AOS and EAD touched because of biometrics

07/29/2008 - EAD approved.

05/13/2009 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!/ Card production ordered email

05/18/2009 - Welcome Letter received

06/12/2009 - Second card production ordered email

06/19/2009 - Approval notice send email

06/22/2009 - Green Card received

04/09/2012 - Applied for Citizenship by Express Mailing N400 to NBC

04/10/2012 - N400 received by USCIS

06/23/2012 - Biometrics appointment

07/27/2012 - Appointment scheduled for N400 interview

09/05/2012 - Interview passed, oath ceremony completed, and Naturalization certificate received.

I had the same with EAD. It didnt change anything. I received card after 10 days

AOS from K1

March 24th, 2009 -- AOS Sent

March 25th, 2009 -- AOS received!

April 2th, 2009 -- Check Cashed

April 2th, 2009 -- NOA received[AOS, EAD, AP]

April 5th, 2009 -- Biometrics Letter received

April 29th, 2009 -- Biometrics at 9am

April 15th, 2009 -- Transferred to CSC!

May 7th, 2009 -- EAD Approved -Card Production Ordered

May 7th, 2009 -- AP Approval notice sent

May 12th, 2009 -- EAD Approved -Card Production Ordered again!

May 13th, 2009 -- EAD Approval notice sent

*** May 15th, 2009 - EAD, AP received ***

June 24th, 2009 -- AOS Card Production Ordered!!!

I had it with the card ordered... got 2 touches, 2 updates, 2 emails, just the date was different... don't worry!

2/16/08 --> finally send I-129F to CSC

7/21/08 --> touched/NOA2 email

8/09/08 --> "Pakage 3" in the mail

8/21/08 --> Medical Exam

9/19/08 --> Interview

9/26/08 --> Visa arrived

10/08/08 --> flying from Duesseldorf - JFK - Cleveland

11/08/08 --> finally married :)

12/27/08 --> AOS/EAD/AP send to Chicago

5/13/09 --> found a job and we picked out Molly (Beagle Puppy)

5/20/09 --> I485 "Card has been ordered" and again on 5/29/09

5/23/09 --> "Welcome to the United States of America"

6/2/09 --> AOS approved

6/5/09 --> GC in the mail and at night brinnging home Molly... such a great feeling :)

It means "It has been actually ordered after delay" so your card is coming in mail within a week.

yes it is a good news !.....

My AOS case was approved on May 13th also , card production was ordered on that day too . Welcome letter was

received a few days later. Checks to the USCIS site with the online checker still show the production date

of may 13th , along with the last CRIS email saying the same ( 13th May )

So still caught up in this greencard production delay wondering when it will appear , hoping that your CRIS email

points to them catching up with production.

Our AOS was also approved in mid may & card production ordered then too , just like so many others still waiting for

the actual card to arrive. Havent received the 2nd CRIS email yet either.

The online case is still showing card production ordered on the day of our interview.

You will receive your GCs very soon, because normal GC production has been resumed after approximately 6-week delay.

Same thing happened to me...after over a month of waiting, I got the second CPO mail. Frankly, I do not know if it means the actual production and I do not even dare to be happy. I know that people here received their GC after the second CPO e-mail...so, let's hope for the best.

I hope that you are right about the production resuming, as do many other waiting... but there has been no official statement that production has resumed or that they are getting back to normal. We will get some clues to the situation as people here post about receiving cards (or when an official statement is issued).
