My Monday~~

Boarded plane at midnight, slept 4 hours sitting up, landed in Milwaukee, drove 2 hours, blew kisses at my neighborhood, kissed my kitty and crawled into bed for 2 hours. Now I am going to work

Ugh Jax I hear ya - I always end up on the red-eye when I fly back from Seattle. Usually I leave there at like 11pm and get here to DC around 8am - just in time to make it to work....

I'm with you on the schedule Sara..Ugghhhhh!!! I hate getting up every morning but I love work, once I'm here. It's the getting everyone up, getting them fed all while trying to shower, dress, etc and sometimes answering 3rd shift emails from work before they leave for the day...(I have to be honest some days when I need a break, I leave to work earlier before the babies wake up just so morning rush is left to the hubster! I'm bad I know... )

I know how you feel. We're sooo spoiled and I'm gonna just have a coronary when she goes, and I know she will too. She was so funny last night - I said, "I know you're ready for Monday so that Tavo and I will leave you alone with Enzo and you all can get back to your routine." She laughed in that "OMG you've got me figured out" laugh.

Very true! My MIL would get annoyed on weekends when we were around. She had them on a schedule...

One thing though that I do not miss was how spoiled Zain was too! He slept with her every night and when she left it took us over 1 month to make him realize he actually had his "own" bed and that he needed to sleep alone in it. He cried at night for almost 2 weeks straight...it broke my heart. My MIL is planning on coming back soon and I have already laid down the law....nap time sleeping with Zizi (she doesnt like grandma ) is okay but night time sleep with Zizi is NEVER allowed.

I know I had voiced my opinion a while back but the hubby said Don't worry he will forget a few days after she's gone....NOT! Now he's the one who brought up the subject this past month when my MIL said she's coming back shortly.

Awww...thank you Aya! They are awesome kiddos! Tons of fun. One of our very good friends in Egypt, her name is Aya. I miss her and her beautiful sister, Nour! Acutally I'm pretty "home" sick for a lot of my friends there right now...don't know why but this past week its all I can think of...

I'm thinking of making a trip back to Egypt by the end of the year with the babies but will have to leave the hubby behind. We actually discused it this weekend. He can't return for a long while (maybe 3 years). We think its best that all his relatives and our friends get to meet the babies now and later on when he can travel; we can all go together. But everyone is dying to see the babies and we want to make sure his elderly relatives have that chance...you just never know how long we have left in this world.
