How Cheap is Dirt Cheap?

I've been in Vietnam for over a year now (Since Feb of 2008) and I am about to go back to the United States on June 27th since my wife just got her visa. Then I have to fly back to Vietnam again in Oct. to work for 2 months. My work lets me go back to Vietnam 4 months a year. I go to Vietnam/Thailand quite often because of my work and I am contacted to come to Asia 4 months a year.

Contact Universal Travel in Ho Chi Minh city or they have an office here in Wichita, KS (316-263-5577) as well. I was shocked at how cheap I got a flight through them. I got round trip and my visa for $1030.

I'm moving there next month to open a cafe and stay a while. Should be up and running mid August. I got a good deal direct thru EVA Air. I decided to spend a bit more for business class. I have had 3 uncomfortable fights and decided to treat myself

I just purchased tickets from NWA (direct from their website) for September 3rd-13th for just under $1200 - Erie,PA - Detroit, Mi - Tokyo - HCMC

That is much less than 3 months ago and less than half what I paid in January. NWA has added flight from Tokyo to HCMC so I can go all on one carrier now.

On another note - mailed my I-129F petition this morning!!!!!!!!!!!

How much were the business class tickets with Eva Air? My wife and I are flying back to US business class also but through AA since I have miles with them.

premium business class was $2200 but you can get a lower class cheaper. I wanted something I can lay down in cause I can't sleep sitting up on the plan.

My wife got her one way ticket from EVA this coming Thursday for $600. Eva is very reliable, and comfort.

Round-trip economy on EVA between San Francisco and HCM is $861 now, if you book direct with EVA. A Vietnamese travel agent in the US could probably save a little on that fare. Add more if you need a domestic carrier either in the US or Vietnam.

If you're in California or Texas I recommend US Tours. They can usually get you better deals on EVA and China Airlines than you can get direct from the airline, and they take care of the visa for you. If you need domestic travel after arriving in Vietnam they can usually help arrange that with Vietnam Airlines, as well. They saved me $800 in December when I was booking only two weeks in advance. They got me the 30 day advance price!

I booked 2 R/T Tickets for December for 2010.00 thu asina Air, Pretty good deal Until I found I could of got it for 1850.00 thu United if I waited 3 more months. Oh Well. But still pretty Cheap During Xmas.
