I got the combined IV and AOS fee bills, paid them, and now my lawyer said I have to get all the docs from my fiance and then we send both the AOS and the IV application all at once. Is this correct? I thought you send the AOS and then wait to hear back from NVC and then send the IV application. I'm confused... anybody?

I've been hearing that you should send them separately,but last week when I called NVC and spoke with an operator, I asked if I could have sent both together and if it would create problems, and he said it is fine to send together.

I mean, i sent my separately, but I was just curious....

anyway, he said it is ok, because they are being mailed to same address, with attention to CMR, same everything, so...

People have sent them in together. BUT my OWN personal opinion is to send them in two seperate envelopes so things don't get mixed up/lost/etc. You can send them at the same time though - no big deal. We have people who have sent the IV packet weeks before they sent the AOS packet because they were waiting on things. It really doesn't matter.
