Hi everyone. Will be having my interview soon and i'm getting a little nervous. Aside from determining if the relationship is really genuine and if the petitioner is financially capable of supporting me, are there any factors that interviewers give importance to? My concern is that my mother-in-law agreed to be a cosponsor because my husband's income is not enough, her annual income though exceeds 125% of the poverty line for 3 people (my husband is also a dependent). Since her income already exceeds the poverty line, we didnt present her assets, etc anymore. DO you think we will have a problem with that? thank u again in advance.

As long as your mother-in-laws income exceeds the requirements there should be no reason that you would have to present proof of assets. Good luck. mike
