hello to all, im new to vj and i want to ask my friends probs regarding to being stuck in NVC dont even know the exact reasons of being stuck in there,the favor that i ask to you all is i want your help and guide how to make and email to NVC if we will have to inguire something like the case no. because it takes too long already since my friend received and approval notice but until this time they did not received any letter stating about there case no?does this mean theres something wrong with there case?pls my friend wants to email NVC as soon as anyone can give a format or a guide just to make sure i am following the right way to email them...thanks in advance and i would be glad and happy if someone can help me so i can relay it to my friend who feels hopeless about there case.they got approved since MAY 5...but no case no issue until this time not even any letter informing my friend if they have missed something or maybe they are on AP?PLS ILL WAIT FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES...GOD BLESS

AUG/20/09:ISSUED NOA2...as 2 cris email notice...thanks god for the speedy approval..

Your friend should call them up.

An automated recorded message system is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to answer case status inquiries (603 334-0700).

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (EST)

The NVC’s e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

In order to ensure a prompt response:

  • The Subject Line of the e-mail should be the relevant NVC Case Number.
  • Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth.
  • If you are an attorney, include the name of the law office requesting the information.
  • If the petition is employment-based, include the company/organizational name.
  • Reference only one case per e-mail.

Calling DOS begins,here is what I was told

Jul 7,09 No info @ DOS

Jul 10,09 Case sent to DC-pending

Jul 17,09 Pending

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Sep 26,09 REUNION :)
