Don't die on your SO. The US will treat him/her badly. One more reason not to go for a K visa.

WOW! Shocking and really sad! They did everything legal and were just waiting for an interview for her greencard!? Its a shame that illegals have more freedom in this country and dare to get asked if they are illegal or legal but a person who does the right thing, the right way and is waiting on the GOVERNMENT gets harrassed and kicked out. Shameful government!

I just read in the paper a few days ago that all widows and widowers of this nature were NOT going to be deported and were being given a 2 years reprieve, supposedly in order for new legislation to be written that would allow for them to self-petition.

What Tamara said.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

That's correct. The end of the 6-Minutes story stated that as well.

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

Senseless and inhumane? No doubt. But corrupted? Nah, if it was corrupted then you'd be able to buy a green card. By comparison, I'd say the US was one of the least corrupt countries I've ever seen, excluding Illinois...
