Fresh sardines too? They are completely different to canned ones - like canned tuna and fresh tuna are incomparable. Fresh sardines are the yummes!

the canned stuff reminds me of Friskies.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

My people are the J00s, not the gheys. J00s can be made fun of, but only by other J00s. Any Mexeecans making fun of my people are anti-semites. Any J00s making fun of Mexeecans are given license, since everyone knows Mexeecans are all illegal anyway. :P

<_< it's Messikans, n00b :jest:

Messikans, shmexeecans. What's the difference? So I'm a dumb J00 who can't misspell a misspelled word. So sue me

I must say, I'm enjoying this thread much more now that it's about fish, and faux racism. As opposed to the real thing. Faux racism can be funny. The real thing is never funny.

I am assuming that Friskies are some form of cat food? Canned sardines aren't really like cat food

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Nor can you get smoked mackerel :( I am getting bored of sardines too...

Those canned sardines in tomato sauce?---they are Fhorrible.

No, sardines in olive oil mostly...although I have had the tomato sauce ones which are ok at a pinch.

Sardines = EEEEWWW. Always have, and always will.

Len, you are so lucky to be in Seattle. When I lived there; we were always at the Pier enjoying FRESH smoked Alaskan Salmon and King crab....Pikes Place buying fresh fruit and veggies! Went to the best music concerts, skiing in Winter and enjoyed the varied culture there. I loved it and would give anything to go back. Texas is pretty much the same everywhere and you can't get a fresh salmon or crab.

sorry O/T

tell me about it

yet I hear you can get fresh crabs ... just make sure you have the correct shampoo

 Well, maybe not Friskies, but definatly Fancy Feast (IMO anyway) 18098_f260.jpgnot that I *know * what fancy Feast tastes like, but it smells the same as those canned sardine things. You are right though, fresh sardines are soooo much better :P

Aw, once you're south of the Rio Grande it's all about the same. Straight down to Terra Del Fuego it's just Meseekans and more Meseekans as far as the eye can see. And they all have but one thought on their mind. .... to be illegal in the USA.
