hey

relax and USCIS will send u the NOA1 once they receive the papers and u will be notify by mail or email

the best thing u can do go to the immigration home page and register first so u can track by email

here is the link

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

once u registered put ur email check so they will notify u faster

and after that if u want to pay to NVC please pay online it is fast and correct method

good luck

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

The advantage of using a personal check is that you know when it has been cashed. Plus using your joint account is more evidence of your marital relationship. Contact the maker of the money order to ask if it has been cashed.

10 days isn't very long for an envelope to travel, be opened, and processed. Your time period includes 2 weekends. This process demands patience.

If it was a Post Office money order you can go on the post office website and track it. I don't know if the other types of money orders allow you to track them, but try it .

We were able to check to see if our money order was cashed. We sent a western unioin money order and I checked whether or not it was cashed online at western union. Once I saw that it had been cashed, I called USCIS to see why I hadn't received NOA1 yet. They were able to tell me when everything was received and when the NOA1 was mailed.

Best Wishes.
