Well I called DOS this morning. There was only a 3 min wait :) I didn't catch the ladys name that I spoke with but she had a very strong accent.

I am going to call back again and maybe I will get the nice lady Rose. I think if I get this woman again, I will hang up. She was very short ~ Bordering on Rude!!

When I asked how many checks there were she said it's a name check that has to go through several agencies, like the FBI and other places.... you should read the flow chart shonjaved posted a page or two back it explains the process. Good luck!

Thanks Sarah!! I just called back and spoke with Barbara, and i must say she has to be one of the nicest people there!! :) I knew it was pending but wanted to see if they could tell anything about how many checks. She just said that they don't have any of that information. She was also helpful by telling me to check Ankara website (even tho I knew) but hey, that was nice to tell me if I didn't know.

Yeah for Barbara and being polite and friendly. ( You never know maybe DOS reads this) lol

Joye

I'm sorry to hear that joyeann.....She ansewered my call too and I asked for her name and she told me it was Sue......than I asked for her employe ID because I did not like the way she was speaking to me and she said she could not give that out for security reasons......He is the one that always answeres me she is so rude......I was so frustrated once that I started crying and asked her why she was in a hurry to blow me off and she replyed because "there is nothing she can tell me and i'm just gonna keep on asking questions" than i told her that Its her job to answer my questions and I will ask as many questions as I need to becuase its only natural of me to be concerned.........After that she was a bit more nicer but I would still concider her the rudest person i have ever talked to throughout this whole process.........

Hope I get this Rose that everyone seems to be happy with........

Best of luck!:):)

if this is a *confirmed* workflow for SAO/AR... it would be great to have this as part of the guides. unfortunately, my less than optimistic side tells me, that won't happen.

yes it is confirmed from Department of state it comes from their annual report.

source is located on the bottom of the Jpg.

Barbara was the most informative for me and pretty nice. Rose was nice and semi informative. I guess it depends on whether they're having a good day or not unfortunately and working at DOS could mean a bad day everyday for all I know.
