Hi,

The other day, I went to NYC ASC to redo my biometrics. The officer there told me if the 2nd one is rejected, I need to get police clearance (good conduct certificate) from the places I lived in the past 5 years. Do I need to get this from Japanese (my home country) police as well? The general consulate website says that it will take 2-3 months to get police certificate from Japan. So I'm afraid I won't be able to make the deadline ... :help:

Was there no Japanese police certificate when you were interviewed for your K-1? If not, then you might consider having a Japanese lawyer get your record, as it will be required.

There was Japanese police certificate in my K-1 packet.
