First of all I would like to thank you all for all your sympathy and condolences during our time of grieving and pains. I am still in pain and from time to time I can`t help myself but to cry. Losing a mom was so depressing especially she died with vehicular accident while I am there in U.S...Good thing that my AP arrived the day my mom died.....! I don`t have parents now both of them are gone ( I lost my dad when I was 6yrs.old)and now my mom. Please continue praying for the Eternal repose of my beloved mother.

I will be going back to U.S on June 18 and heal myself with this tragic experience that happen to my mom.

I will be flying via NWA- MNL-Nagoya-DTW, in case somebody here have the same flight. You can contact me...Please pray for my safe trip back to U.S and a hassle free POE for the second time.

Yes - you have the correct documents to return.

Sorry about your mom.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

You should be fine for re-entering the US. I am so sorry for your loss. Safe travels.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hello, sorry for my late reply. I am now back here in U.S. I travelled by myself and my re-entry was smooth no problem using my AP. Thank you very much and have a nice day! God bless!

How did you present your AP at immigration? What line did you use? US or other?

I too came back on the AP on June 18 through JFK and it was very smooth. I used the visitor's line and then the officer asked me if I knew where to go next. I said that I would go to the secondary inspection. I was the only person there and I was asked to sit down and wait while another officer took my AP and passport and 10 minutes later returned both to me (I-94 stamped, passport stamped, one AP stamped and the other one unstamped). I had my passport in my maiden name, and my AP in my married name and nobody even once asked me to show my marriage license or asked me any other questions regarding the purpose of my travel, the length, etc. Prior to my travel I stressed about it and it seems like it was unnecessary. The "biggest" issue was when some airline personnel was confused by the AP document as they have never seen it before but there was always someone else employed by the airline that was familiar with it and there were no problems. Overall my travel on the AP was as smooth as it could be.
