Hi...a friend of mine introduced me with this site...i hope i have known this website when the time i had trouble processing my visa.

I am confused and worried about my situation. I am under cr1 status right now thru DCF application. I thought i will be able to receive my green card when i arrived here in USA but then i received a NOA ( biometrics appointment) instead. I got my SSN and welcome notice thru mail a week after i arrived here in USA. here is the NOA:

ASC Appointment Notice

case type: I485 Application to register Permanent Resient or Adjust Status

To process your application the USCIS must capture your biometrics. Please appear at the below application support center at the date and time specified. If you fail to appear as scheduled, your application will be considered abandoned.

Am i on the right track? I hope you guys can enlightened me with this confusion..thank you so much...
