If you don't have a SSN, then write NONE in the blank on the I-485. SSN is not required at any point to get AOS approval.

No.

Is SSN required for AOS interview? Thank you very much

K-1 is eligible for SSN right away. My wife got hers the day after she arrived. If your I-94 is within 14 days of expiring you cannot get one until you have an dEAD or GC. But it is not necessary for the AOS

If you have already received your EAD card then you should go apply for a SSN. At my AOS interview, the interviewer asked me for my Social Security card because I had already received my EAD card a month before my interview.

OK Thank you.

But I mean, i'm the beneficiary, the non-US citizen. i already got my SSN before my biometrics. I'm asking if my husband (the US citizen) needs to bring his SSN. He has all the other documents as I listed above.

SSN stands for Social Security Number. They already have his - it's on the paperwork. He does not need his Social Security card, if that is what you mean.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package

No, your husband does not need his social security card. All he needs is a valid id, and a birth certificate(as proof of his citizenship) I am sure a copy of it was submitted with your application but take it with you just to be safe. Good luck!

OK Thank you guys! That's what I meant.

What about affidavits? (Letters from friends, family, coworkers saying they know about this genuine marriage). Do they need to be notorized?

and the USC needs his recent tax return and W2? I read it on another thread here just no2.

These 2 things above are not listed in the Interview letter I got. so i'm confused.

Read over the letter again. You need to bring originals of the things you sent. I presume you sent tax returns and W2s, or otherwise you would have gotten a RFE. So, bring the originals of those.

If you included any affidavits, they should have been originals, so there is no reason to bring them. They already have them.

They already have a copy of his recent tax return, if you read the list it says "unless already submitted" next to the tax return part so don't worry about that. But just to be safe take a copy of everything you submitted with your application and his recent pay stub would be a huge plus. Your attorney should have a copy of everything if you do not have it. Letters from friends and family are usually a plus but I wouldn't worry about it if you already have enough evidence such as photos, wedding pictures, joint account, some mail or bills you received where you currently live, proof that you're living together(lease, etc) I did not take any letters from my friends or family and they never asked for them. You will be fine.
