Does he have tax returns? Has he filed?

Maybe he has a business and hasn't filed?

yup he have tax return.yup!he filed and i have all his tax returnd in 3 years and bank statements for 3 months income

OCT 10-2008---receive NOA1
DEC 29-2008---2nd visit and wer both happy
JAN 01-2009---my baby tim proposed me and im happily engaged
JAN 15-2009---wen my baby went back home to US
MAR 11-2009---3rd visit and wer together again thanks God for the time u give us.

As long as you have copies of everything he sent to the IRS when he filed, then you should be fine. Good luck, and DON'T BE NERVOUS! :thumbs:

You are getting a bunch of confusing information.

I am self employed, and my Fiance only needed the most current copy of the 1040. There will not be any W2s, since as a self employed he will not have an employer who issues a W2 to him. If he is like most self employed people, his 1040 will show his business income and business expenses in a section on the 1040. The 1040 will then show his net income, and that is what he pays taxes on. The Embassy interviewer will look at his net income to see if it meets minimum guidelines.

In addition to his 1040 you are supposed to have letters signed by an officer of the bank for bank accounts and broker accounts he has, and these letters are supposed to show the current balance, the original deposit when the account was started, and the total amount of deposits since the account was started. I had that for each bank account and investment brokerage account I have, and things went very smoothly.

im having my interview this coming thuesday.i have form here 1040 and form 4562...form 1040 is same to w2?can anybody show me what its w2?thank in advance for ur all reply i appreciate it so much...
