I have just started a new job and have started at the bottom and will be working my way up. Since i am still working my way up my income is very low and my question is how much $$ do i need to be making per year? I read 125% of the poverty line, but what is that in $$?

thanks everyone, i think if i get my raise i will have enough to qualify. I still think i will need my folks to co-sponsor as before this job i worked on the family farm where i did not receive much money on the books, or at all, most of my pay was in the form of free room and board
