Hi! I'm confused.. What is a copy of NOA2 approval for I-129F? I need it for my adjustment of status and I'm not sure which form is it.. Can somebody show me what it is? thank you so much..

K1 Timeline

10/2008... Application sent to USCIS

10/14/08... NOA1 received

01/12/09.. NOA2 received

01/29/09.. Embassy sends letter about having received the application and i can now schedule my interview

04/15-16/09.. Medical Examination done

04/30/09.. Interview Approved! smile.gif

05/12/09.. Visa on hand

06/10/09.. POE San Francisco

06/17/09.. Married ;)

06/22/09.. Applied for SSN

07/02/09.. SSN arrives by mail

AOS Timeline

07/10/09.. Applied for AOS, EAD and AP

07/20/09.. Cheque cashed

07/24/09.. NOA

08/15/09.. Biometrics done

08/24/09.. NOA for initial interview

09/03/09.. AP approved

09/10/09.. EAD card received

noa2 is the approval of your petition from USCIS

03.14.2011 -------I-751 sent overnight

03.15.2011 -------package says "Delivered"

03.30.2011 -------ASC Appointment Notice Received

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

Yes I just got mine ... basically it just say that you have been approved (extremely good news) .. and that your file will now be forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC) . it goes on to state " The NVC will then create a case record with your petition information. NVC will then send the petition to the US embassy or consulate where your fiance (e) will be interviewed for his or her visa " then it says

"

You will recieve notication by mail when NVC has sent your petition ot the US embassy or consulate. The notification letter will provide you with a unique number for your case and the name and address of the US Embassy or Consulate where your petition has been sent. "

thats ver batim of their letter . ... it goes on to say if you havent recieved notification within 4 weeks .. blah blah blah blah ..

but anyways that the jist of the NOA2 .. it goes into the hands of the NVC after NOA2 is recieved and approved. :D

If u call USCIS, don't say NOA2... say Notice of Action for Approval of... I-129F.... they won't understand what NOA2 is.
