I am being a little impatient! Maybe ALOT!

I just discovered that our check was cashed yesterday, and I am looking at the scanned image of it through our bank service, and I am trying to figure out my case number...

So I know it should be a 13 digit number, starting with 3 alphabetic characters....well I do not have alphabetic ones on the check, but I have a few 10 digit numbers...does anybody know what Texas service center's alphabetic letters are? And what your case number starts with? I will give me clue...

Until later,

Sherlock Holmes! LOL

No clue, sorry. I just waited until the case number came in the mail. It took less than ten days if memory serves. Good luck!

Thanks, Bkj!

That helps alot. :star:

I wonder, can you track your citizenship case online though...or because it is biometrics and interview it is a different process from green cards and lifting conditions application?

I am able to track my citizenship case on line. My number is also an NBC*. It is on the NOA which you should be receiving soon.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Once you get your receipt number, you can enter it in the online system. However, from what I've read, the status of your case never gets updated online, so it will only confirm that your case was received, and won't notify you of any further developments (biometrics, interview, oath, etc.)

We never saw a final update on the visa either. It still says "pending" at USCIS, and Vika is in the home stretch of AOS.
