You are not alone. I am in the 7th month and counting too. No decision on my I-130 as well. Hopefully you should hear some good news soon. Usual processing timeline for I-130 is 6 months. You might want to place a service request on your I-130.

Our I-130 was recieved December 16th, and we just attended our interview two days ago, June 10th (Accepted!) So I hope yours will be coming soon too. One word of advice: Make sure you have EVERYTHING ready now, because we reallly didn't get much advance notice at all... the letter arrived just ten days before the interview date, and we had quite a few things to take care of before we could leave for Atlanta!

Firstly, pls turn off the caps as it feels like you are yelling out!

secondly you should have heard back as the processing time is 6 months, however you can't do anything if they take longer.

our petition took a whole year to get approved.

you might want to contact your state senator or congressman to see if they can find out what the delay is in your case.

if your case is under background check they can't do anything about it

however, if the case is simply buried under someones desk and forgotten, inquiry from the senators office will make them dig it out and work on it and probably speed up things a bit.

good luck

On what basis did you enter the US?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
