All VJ MEMBERS,

DO NOT PAY YOUR IV BILL TILL YOU RECEIVE AN EMAIL THAT YOUR IV BILL IS GENERATED AND READY TO PAY.

My IV bill was showing available to pay on 06/10/09. So I called and talked to REP and they said yes, we received your DS-3032 on 06/09/09 and if the IV bill is available you can go ahead and pay it even though I haven’t received an email form NVC to pay it.( Even the VJ members told me to pay it as well)

So I paid my IV BILL 06/10/09. On 06/11/09 afternoon, status changed and says paid online. I even printed the document cover sheet as well.

But then I received an email about 4 .00 pm about the IV bill from NVC on 06/11/09.

When I called customer service they said you paid the bill before it was generated, so now they have to fix it on their side that my bill has been paid, and that will delay my case. They will need one to two week to fix it.

So Bottom line is …………..

That happened to most of us and it does not delay your case. it will show up again as paid in a few days and as long as you have the barcode coversheet you are ok to send the DS-230 once you have it ready to go.

Yupp....this happens very often to so many members : (but it doesnt delay the process,as long as u have ur coversheet,it is safe to send ur Ds-230 packet

I paid mine both together about two weeks ago.

i did not know that

but i dont think i did anything wrong if i paid it

i have not send the DS-230

i only send the I-864 last week

thank Guys, i was little bit tense when Rep told me that it will delay my by TWO WEEK. I caled 3 times and all 3 different told me that it will delay my case.

so got bit tense, but i am feeling much relived now.

it's magic or what but just a day after system said my IV bill NOT PAID, it says PAID now.

BUt i whould still advise people to wait till you get bill from NVC, and if you dign up to receive stuff by email, it is anyway fater than the all teh shortcut methods have suggested.

I would not recommend people not to do it, what I would recommend is that you print out your barcode coversheet as soon as it shows paid. That way if the Known bug makes it show as NOT PAID when the email is generated you will still have the Coversheet to include with your packet and as we all know the NOT PAID bug fixes its self in a few days and no time is lost.
