Hello fellow members,

If we do need and can find a co sponsor..since hubby just lost his job :

1 what are the documents we need to ask from our co sponsor?

Same that your hubby needed - proof of income/assets needed for the poverty level. Tax transcripts from the IRS are the best

2. WHo is qualified to be our co sponsor?Does it have to be close family members?

18+ USC/LPR living in the US.

3.What kind of AOS form do i need for my co sponsor?

You would need the I-864 (or 864A if the person lives in the same household).

This is just in case my hubby can't get a job in time. Thank you very much for yur reply.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
