They received my application on 26-May, but they haven't send me the appointment, yet, they are not adding too many case numbers to their website either, they just removed the expired ones, some times they add one or two to the middle but not to the end.

does any one knows why??

I would think your appointment would be in September - but they should of sent you an email by now. Shoot them over an email to check on the status.

Use the number NVC gave you ANKXXXX

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

ayup - they are still working through the backlog when they shut down visa processing for two weeks (obama visit) - plus they do the visas for Iran.

Yes - I remember your situation :)

did you include a few c-notes with your application? (j/k)

i can't give you the reason why... I'm stuck waiting 3 months for my visa interview - but some have it worst - so I am happy with that.

What?! I didn't have to send them money at this time?!!! I thought last payment is at the interview process, I filled K1.

Can I pay any thing to expedite the process?

I only Sent the all the forms that they needed + few emails + Skype logs + Photos + Tax returns for 2007, 2008 + Tax Transcripts + Bank info + W-2 forms + Travel ticket and Boarding pass.

My package was 4 Lb !!! it was so organized that who ever look at it can find any thing that may asked for.

KGH ---

See my original post - i have the (j/k) after that statement of c-notes..

J/K means "just kidding" - I even used a picture that isn't real (notice the picture is of a rapper, not Ben Franklin). IT'S A JOKE :)
