I've only watched half an episode of 24 and didn't like it much, perhaps if I rented the entire first season I might enjoy it.

But for me these days Dexter gets rid of Norris and Bauer easily! Dexter FTW!

thats what i did. i didn't think much of it, i probably watched half an episode 5 years ago, but now i decided to rent season on e and got so hooked. the other seasons are not as good, but i'm hooked, i cant stop watching.

íts not about him kicking as$, it's about him trying to stop terrorists and people getting in the way, like spies, people dying right before they could tell u where the bomb is, people bein interrogated, tortured. family members being taking hostages so people will let terrorists go free, etc etc

it really isn't.

The original Mission Impossible TV series is way better.

And it was also order-of-magnitude superior to the 1989 "remake" (which deservedly died a natural death after less than one season).

I saw the opening montage of the 80's revival and strangely it looks more dated than the original series from 20 years earlier.

Original series is good though - I've only seen the first 3 seasons with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain. Heard things took a bit of a nosedive from Season 4 onwards after Leonard Nimoy was brought in.
