Ah well.

So nice to see the deep insights and analysis VJers are applying to the watershed election in Iran. Who needs the NY Times when we have AJ and Charles to properly deconstruct the events for us?

Keep it up gents! More and more I feel certain that VJ is wonderful entertainment but not a place to actually talk about issues.

I'm all for idiot threads, and have my hand in plenty of them. So I'm not complaining mind you. Just observing.

I think I speak for all of us when I say, GFY.

:bonk:

Mr Mousavi said he was the "definite winner" and alleged that there had been widespread irregularities.

But almost immedietely afterwards, President Ahmadinejad announced that he had won.

In Iran? They'd be better off overthrowing their despotic mullahs if they really cared. The Iranians under age 50 have let Iran swirl down the toilet for 30 years.
