Melly, Im 1000% convinced that guys do not think like us women. If you get upset at him or say something to him about getting the same thing, that might make him upset himself when he thought hes doing the right thing (according to a mans POV) it wouldnt be worth it. Hes just thinking of doing a good deed for his wife and sister while you, me and half the other women around would be overthinking about it. lol girls will be girls...

Swear it seemed like it would NEVER get here! Had the BEST TIME with Terrie and Maggie last night! We laughed sooooo hard!!! Maggie's husband made Harira for us and it was great...even my picky eldest son loved it! I wish I had today off so I could hang with the girls, but am really looking forward to seeing them again tonight.

Amanda~~Hang in there girl. I can imagine how ur stomach just must be turning and doing flip-flops. God is faithful and it's soo obvious that u all are really in love, so I'm sure things will go well for you. I am keeping you in my prayers!

Melly~~I felt the same way about the mother's day myspace comment. It was really nice, but he did also send the same one to one of our mutual friends, but I just shrugged it off and got over it. I was just happy that he made the effort to post me something. Rida has sent me some monster sized jewelry that is currently being used as wall decoration...lol I jsut love that man!

Bridget- Honestly the only indian food I've ever tasted was my husband's cooking and it was good; so I'm looking forward to taste the professional form of it hehehe even tho i hate spicey food I'm up for it this time. I'll keep the name of that dish in mind tho.

HLM~~Chicken Tikka Masala is the best. It is not naturally spicy hot unless u ask for it to be. Hope they do a good job for u. Indian food is MY FAVE!

Mornin....the sun is coming back slowly but surely

Kelz..hi dear....good luck with your schooling, as someone said, school, to me is not easy to accomplish especially when you are working full time with a husband and toddler. I dont know if I could ever go back, honestly.

HLM I LOVE INDIAN FOOD and so does my 9 year old daughter I can actually cook it quite well too. I had lived there for about 5 months.

Maureen...DETROIT GOING FOR THE CUP??? Is tonight the final game?? my god I am such a slacker, I didnt even watch but 1/2 of one Flyers game all season. It has been about 4 or 5 years since I have been to a game either.

I need to think about tickets for next season already. I think hubby would like it. He didn't like baseball much plus he said alot are not even really paying attention. I told him the game is slow and that is just another excuse to sit around, chit chat and drink...oh and everyone once in a while get up, cheer or WAVE..lol

Jeanne...please don't utter that dreadful word, cold. I would be happy never to have cold, ever.

Angel....hubby is coming in 14 days!!! WOW getting close, do you have a lot to do? It is so nice when they come and see all the trinkets, spices and goodies they have brought. Hubby brought a lot of surprises one of which was a very high quality bit of saffron, which I needed....needless to say it was wrapped in a small section of newspaper and got tossed with all the other newspaper that was protecting the delicate items....he still gets on me about that one. I just was so excited finally opening gifts from him I threw all the paper about and then just picked it up and threw it away.

Poor saffron never even made it to the cooking pot.

Seattle gang..have fun...do everything I can't do ok....lol

I saw an excellent movie Tues...Gran Torino

and another last night HOTEL RAWANDA..so good. very emotional and sad to see what really goes on in the world that most are oblivous to.

watched the Wrestler with hubby, was up till 4am but that was OK, nothing special

Poor Mickey Rourke only looks a hair like what he used to...you can barely tell it is him AND his voice is completely different too. Anyone know what the story is with him?
