Is it just me or does it seem like people who have moved to a new address prior before getting their NO2 get their approvals shortely after. I've seen 3 different timelines since I been a member that people got approved within 2 weeks after the petitioner updated their new address. Maybe our petitions are part of hay stack of other petitions who applied around the same time, to be randomly picked whenever they get to them. I guess they have to pull the petition to update the address :hehe: , so why not go ahead and approve it. Have anybody else noticed the same thing?

VISA APPROVED!!!!!

Interesting theory and I wouldnt doubt it at all

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

That kinda sorta happened to me. I had changed my address shortly after submitting my I130 and I129F. I did not know that they had changed the address only on the I130 and not the I129f. I was coming up on the 6 month mark and called to check on the status of my petitions and maybe put in a service request when I found out that they had not updated my address on the I129f or my last name on the I130. Well they put in a service request to have that changed and two weeks later I got my approvals. So...who knows?

You are the 4th then. I think you just confirmed that they do approve faster if people update new addresses. They have to pull your file to update your information. Since it's being touched why not go ahead and approve it. I move in a month, so if it happens to me it confirms it.
