F###### pigs.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Our police rock!

Another case in point

by Ralph R. Ortega/Star-Ledger

Thursday November 06, 2008, 8:54 AM

A Honduran man questioned by police responding to a report of a suspicious person in Readington Township Tuesday, was found to be wanted for deportation, authorities said.

Officer Robert Riva responded to the call about 9:25 a.m. and found Mario Sandoval-Amaya walking a bicycle near the Readington Firehouse, according to Lt. Sebastian Donaruma, a police spokesman.

A warrant check on is identity turned up an order for deportation issued by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Law Enforcement Center, Donaruma said.

Sandoval-Amaya, 39, of Neshanic Station, was transported back to police headquarters, processed, and then transferred to the Hunterdon County Jail in Flemington.

Ok - yeah, he ended up being an illegal - but the tip off was walking a bicycle - cause of course that's suspicious! Very similiar to an unzipped jacket.

You know - they changed the headline it used to read: Man Arrested for Walking Bike

I was wondering when Obama's uniform would be done from the tailor.

So lets get rid of the police. They are obviously the bad guys, right?

We underpay them, then under equip them but expect them not to crack under the pressure.

I would like to see how anyone of you would react, working under such similar conditions. Yes you Bohr, get out of the geeky office and start working the streets for a few months / years.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

what??

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Do you need it explained in layman's terms?

Nope. It's the culture that these police are in. They need to learn a few things of ethics. Those who commit to these acts will obviously be punished.

There are two sides to every story. I find it hard to believe that police beat people up for no reason, while this nobody is some saint. We are talking about the police here, not some minority gang that walks around looking for people to beat up or kill.

After watching show after show of Gangland (History Channel), the police need all of the help they can get.

Now, if these guys where in the wrong, they will be disciplined or fired.

I put my foot in my mouth then. :help:

It only takes a bad apple to ruin the entire batch. Everybody should realize this by now. Sure, lets help the police get their ethics straight by investing in them and their training.

The police have the odds stacked against them in this country. The laws protect the crooks more so than they protect the innocent. Don't believe me? check out a few episodes of gangland; which shows about 0.1% of the daily criminal activity in the states.

Episode on the Alaskan crips is on, as one of the members put it, "we hurt people for fun and don't value life much".

It is the culture the police are in and what they are trained to do/believe.

I was "friends" with a former police officer who loved his cop years - one of his favorite stories to tell was about an elderly man that was busted for public drunkeness. He was being processed or whatever they call it. After about an hour of being handcuffed to the chair, the man asked to go to the bathroom. My "friend" was taught that type of situation gives him additional power/control.

About ten minutes later, the guy is literally crying because he needs to go to the bathroom. At this point, the "friend" is laughing about how great this story is. I asked, point blank, if the guy is just there on public drunkeness, why didn't they let him pee or take him to the cell or whatever - his response was "you ALWAYS have to be in control". So I made a comment about not realizing how much paperwork and time this all takes [having not been arrested, I had no idea]. He laughed and said, "well once we knew he had to pee, we decided to teach him a lesson. There's paperwork and there's PAPERWORK. It's all about control Milo, it's all about control".
